An opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Assistant to join a corporate compliance team for one of the world's largest research companies.

Starting early Jan 2024


You will be supporting the business's research projects and assisting with the day-to-day administration duties within in a fast-paced, centralised UK Compliance team.

This role will deal with queries that come in from across the business units and you will provide first line, technical compliance support.


Key Requirements:


  • Main responsibility will be to manage queries that come in from the business on a daytoday basis.
  • Providing first line internal responses to the business and external queries.
  • Keeping team planner up to date for queries and ensuring they are managed in a timely manner.
  • Providing 3rd party access to systems, as well as freelancer and supplier administration support.
  • Management of document logs including Incident & Data Breach Log, and Complaints log.
  • Assisting with the creation of online training materials and their launch on the new training platform.
  • Maintaining and updating content and documents on the intranet pages as and when required.
  • Supporting the team in the preparation of internal and external audits.
  • Provide support to Head of Compliance as and when required.

Key Skills:


  • Previous administration experience within a busy and fast paced environment. Preferably gained in a compliance environment.
  • Able to demonstrate a professional, confident and "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and able to selfmanage workload.
  • Good eye for detail and keen to learn.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees in all levels of the business.
  • Adaptability in navigating uncertain scenarios and delivering optimal solutions.
  • Excellent IT skills with a focus on Microsoft Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint.
This role will offer hybrid working from our office 3 days a week and the rest from home.

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
