Hours / Hwrs :
Evening shift of 8.5 hours shift of 8.30 pm - 5.30am.

3 nights on, 6 nights off / Shifft nos o 8.5 awr o shifft 8.30 pm - 5.30yb.

3 noson ymlaen, 6 noson i ffwrdd.

Salary / Cyflog: 22.97% of Grade 3 = £5, £5,626.73.

Job Purpose

To monitor cameras and CCTV equipment and associated equipment such as ANPR.


To monitor images relayed to the CCTV Control Room from Camera's located throughout the County Borough; To liaise with South Wales Police(SWP); Other Emergency Services; Local Authority Officers; Members of the public and other partners.

To undertake clerical duties in the administration of Control Room.

All new applicants are required to complete a 10 hour online Welsh Work Course.

You will need to complete parts 1 and 2 of the course and must be able to evidence this prior to starting work with the Authority.
