A new opportunity has arisen for a Referrals Administrator to join our team at Rosemullion Veterinary Practice.
This is a permanent part time role working 20 hours per week over 5 days. This 4 hour per day post where you can start / finish to suit your other commitments. It is a Monday - Friday role with no weekends or OOH required. The salary for this position is £10.72 per hour.

Working closely with our referrals nurse to support our fast growing referral service, in our new state of the art hospital, you will be required to:

Receive and promptly acknowledge referral requests. Pass to Referrals Nurse (or senior nurse in her absence) for triage and instruction of next steps
Set up client accounts and ensure correct documents are requested and received from referring vets and attached to the patient record
Request estimates from referrals nurse (or applicable vet)
Ensure referral reports are sent to the referring vet
Liaise with the insurance team with client queries/preauthorisation claims
Liaise with referrals nurse to produce/update referrals literature and referrals newsletters and circulating to referring practices
There will be other elements of daily administration, record keeping and reporting as part of the role; supporting other departments with general office administration as required.
