Commercial Officer - Helensburgh - Permanent - £Competitive

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a prestigious defence company who are actively seeking a Commercial Officer to join them on a permanent basis.

The Commercial Officer will perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services.

What you'll be doing dayday:

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the different types of commercial/contract models
Ensures Terms and Conditions compliance and define all risks
Independently identify, define and implement contract revisions and improvements
Liaison with internally, with customers and suppliers in support of above and provide guidance
Organise and maintain contract files
Ensure timeliness of all contract actions and contract close out.
Keep internal and external stakeholders appraised of current issues
Responsible for ensuring flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers.

Your skills:

Experience as a Commercial Officer or similar Contracts Management role
Contracts Management for Major Projects / Programmes / Complex Contracts
Knowledge of the different types of commercial / contract models
Keen attention to detail
Strong analytical, report writing and organisational skills
Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at varying seniority levels
SC clearance or ability to achieve is required for this role
