Description
About the role

We are looking for a customer-focused and dedicated individual to join our ambitious team on a twelve month contract or secondment.

Our team has big plans to be an inspirational local government IT service, and we need great people to help us achieve our goals.

Our customers have many varied service and customer-facing roles ,and they rely on us to keep their technology working so they can continue to do the work they do for the residents of North Northamptonshire.

You're never sure who is going to contact you and what help they require, but that's what makes this role so interesting and challenging.

What will you be doing?

There will be a lot to learn, but we will give you the training you need and continue to support you as you gain confidence.

About you
We are looking for a dynamic individual committed to providing excellent customer service. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, and communication skills and be customer-focused. In addition, you will be someone with high levels of accuracy and who pays attention to detail.

You will be self-motivated, organised and able to work in a pressurised environment, as part of a team and on your own, managing competing priorities.

You will have a mature, methodical and organised approach to work and take responsibility to see tasks through to completion.

We value flexible working and work-life balance, and you will have opportunities to work from home whenever possible.

However, these roles are customer-facing, so they will also involve supporting staff working in North Northamptonshire. Initially, you will be based at one of our main offices, and training will be held in Northampton.

However, in time you will be supporting staff at our other offices too, either in person or remotely, so having the ability to travel between sites is important.
