Description

HR Generalist, an exciting and newly created opportunity, joining a growing Global Health/Medical Charity, based in West London.

  • Offering hybrid working pattern; 3 days office based and 2 days working from home.


Due to the growth of the charity, this newly created HR Generalist role will be working directly with the HR Manager and support on the day-to-day operations of the HR function.

Provide broad HR Generalist support covering areas across the entire employment lifecycle; recruitment, induction, training and development, payroll and benefits.

As the HR Generalist, working with the HR Manager, you will provide support across all areas, such as;

Induction; Prepare induction packs in collaboration with Heads of Department arrange departmental/organizational inductions.

Performance Management; Ensure all staff receive regular reviews during their probationary period and annual feedback documentation is completed and filed.

Learning and Development; Identify external training partners, book training courses, assist and coordinate internal training opportunities.

Employee Relations; Support the HR Manager in the preparation of payroll including starters/leavers, contract variations, SSP, SMP etc.

Reward; Assist with the bi-annual benchmarking project, take part in a review of benefits

Administration; Maintain accurate and up to date personnel files. Prepare HR correspondence, changes to Terms and Conditions of employment, end of probation, termination etc.


We are looking for you have proven experience of working in a HR Generalist role, and be able to support on areas such as; Recruitment, Induction, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Reward and Performance Management.

You will have good knowledge of employment legislation. Experience in Reward and remuneration practices.


Desirable, but not essential:
CIPD qualification and/or relevant HR Certification or equivalent experience.
