About the role


We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Engagement Manager to join us at our state-of-the-art Impact Centre in Fordham.

On the site of our flagship Packaging facility, the Impact Centre is a hub for DS Smith's customers to come and learn more aboutour products, solutions, and the ways in which we can help them to innovate.

Your responsibility as Customer Engagement Manager is to create positive experiences for our customers, supporting the continuous improvement of our relationships.


Internally, you will act as a central point of contact for Sales, Marketing, and Design/Innovation, bringing together significant amounts of knowledge and translating it into usable action points for our customers.

For the most part this will be deliveredin physical, virtual or hybrid workshops, where you'll bring specialists in each field together to create opportunities for customers to discuss ideas and how we can strengthen our partnerships.


We'll be asking you to plan engaging and compelling events, updating the Impact Centre with different themes, content and technology, and building storylines and presentations based on trends and insights that are relevant to each customer.

As you developyour knowledge of DS Smith, you'll also play a key role in the wider Marketing team across North Europe, bringing your expertise to Marketing projects, Category Management and Innovation.

About you

  • Significant experience in a Sales/Marketing based role, ideally in an FMCG organisation
  • An understanding of design and innovation, and how marketleading principles can be applied to a range of customers
  • Excellent at building networks internally
  • A confident public speaker, you'll need to show dynamism and strong influencing skills when working with customers
  • Inquisitive with a genuine interest in our business, products, and objectives

Location:
This role is based at our Impact Centre in Fordham. On average, you'll need to be on site 3-4 days a week depending on workload, with some flexibility
