MARKETING MANAGER

NOTTINGHAM (hybrid)

£40,000 - £45,000 + benefits


This is an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Exec to step up or for a Marketing Manager to come in and take ownership of a marketing function in this pet-focused company.

You will benefit from interesting projects and stakeholder engagement, as well asa chance to drive the marketing strategy of this business.


THE COMPANY


This is a small but mighty retail company focused on pets, with exciting plans for their growth of the marketing and CRM team as well as the wider business.

With a retail branch for both B2B and B2C, they provide subscription services as well as a rangeof products for their pet-owner customers.


THE ROLE


As the Marketing Manager, you'll be joining the CRM and Marketing team, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Head of Ecommerce.


On the day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the customer journey, including the brand perception throughout this and how the brand compares against competitors
  • Supporting the delivery of new product launches across the brand portfolio digital, print, packaging and brand assets for use across consumer and trade channels
  • Driving 360 'onbrand' marketing campaigns that align to consumer customer mindset and fit the pet calendar, managing this campaign strategy and plans for the year
  • Conducting reporting to produce actionable analysis and insights for all marketing activities

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

For this role, you will need:

  • to be proficient in at least one CRM tool (Salesforce, Adobe Campaign/Oracle).
- be creative and detailed when engaging stakeholders
- excellent communication for liaising with the Head of departments and across the business
- a customer-first mentality, putting the customer at the heart of everything

It will be beneficial to have:

  • background in e-commerce or the retail space
- an analytical mindset with skills in Excel
- experience mentoring or managing
- a passion for pets
