Job Overview:


  • To integrate as part of the service delivery team at Glasgow, supporting the Mitie team to achieve their goals through completion of planned preventative maintenance and any reactive requests.
  • Working as a team to ensure the site is clean, safe, and secure and running at its best.
  • To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
  • To be flexible and work with a 'can do' attitude at all times.

Main Duties

  • Host Contractors around site.
  • Assist with keeping the site tidy by managing waste areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring site waste segregations into the appropriate containers.
  • Site Litter Collections.
  • Miscellaneous basic DIY / Handyman tasks.
  • Landscaping duties
- weeding, grass cutting, hedge trimming.

  • Porterage jobs.
  • Monthly Tap Temperature Tests.
  • Weekly Low Usage Water Flushing.
  • Quarterly Tap / Shower Head Descaling.
  • Driving and operating a range of site vehicles.
  • Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required.
  • Building Fabric Upkeep
  • Identify & report hazards & unsafe conditions

What we are looking for:


  • Willing to learn and develop new skills, demonstrates a proactive approach.
  • Good communicator (written, oral) in English and Computer literate
  • Time Management: Prioritise workload and work to deadlines. committed and punctual.
  • Keen eye for detail, practical, problem solver with a 'can do, will do, with pleasure' attitude.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Customer Focused with the ability to forge strong relationships with key customers
  • Smart, presentable & Punctual. Friendly & approachable.
  • Physically able to lift 25kg.
