BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, is recruiting for a Facilities Administrator to join our London facilities team, in a permanent capacity, working full-time at our London offices (EC2R 7BP).
Role context and purpose:
To support the Facilities team in the provision of a first class customer experience by providing a comprehensive day-to-day facilities service to ensure that premises are accessible and useable by all to support the Group's operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Facilities team in the delivery of facilities management services, contracts and projects ensuring all tasks are carried out in compliance with all current regulatory requirements, seeking advice as necessary;
- Provision of administrative support to the business as required;
- Act as a first point of contact for reporting and resolution of facilities issues, escalating where necessary to the Facilities team;
- Support the Facilities team in the implementation of plans for the use of the space and assets;
- Ensure all frontofhouse services are setup ready for the start of each working day and replenished according to requirements;
- Oversee contractors to ensure effective delivery of contracts and compliance, reporting issues in a timely manner;
- Currently working to an IWFM Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- 5 GCSE's including Maths & English at Grade D or above;
- Trained in: Health and safety training, First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling, Basic food hygiene certificate;
- Proven experience of handson support of facilities services in a similar business.
Special conditions:
- Must be able to work rostered shifts covering 8am to 10pm over 35 hours a week, with occasional lone, evening and weekend working;
- Significant manual handling involved on a regular basis;
- May be required to handle and serve alcohol;
- Occasional travel to Swindon office
