Flexperience is delighted to be partnering with a local award winning Gloucestershire charity to help them to find a Senior Finance Assistant to join them on a part time basis.

The role is a new position that has been created to initially help reduce the workload and tackle the backlog that has built up.

They believe that they will need someone to work 3 days a week during this time for the first three months (happy to discuss a variety of working patterns to achieve this).

Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract with the hope that the role will become permanent.

Once the initial 3 month contract has ended, they will have more of an idea of whether the three days per week is enough or whether there needs to be amendments to the hours.

As the role is a new position, the roles and responsibilities may vary but will include:

  • Sales and purchase ledger
  • Helping with payroll
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with month end shut down
  • Provide cover for the daily inputting into Sage when the Finance Assistant is on holiday
  • You will also lead the project of moving accounting software as the charity has outgrown their current software.
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience working in finance
- if you've worked in a charity, that would be ideal. You will have great attention to detail, be happy to work as part of a small but very friendly team and be the sort of person who is happy to roll your sleeves up and get involved in non finance related tasks too should the need arise.


Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 21-24 per week


Salary:
£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
