The Role
- Face to face broking in Lloyds and with London markets, and electronically with international markets
- Working with the Global Broking Team in all aspects of work
- Excellence in broking through trust, credibility, and strong market relationships
- Seeking best terms and conditions for clients
- Conducting client meetings
- Client account administration with the goal to retain and develop a profitable terrorism portfolio of accounts, including day to day care of clients' programme in a timely and accurate manner.
- Documentation production
- Electronically trading through PPL
- Understand the clients' business and risk management needs, determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs
- Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalise on account penetration and cross selling opportunities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by WTW
- Ensure transparency of agency and other commitments made to carriers and clients
- Deliver optimisation of revenue from new and existing clients using the full range of appropriate placement channels and markets for the specific client segment of the business
The Requirements
- ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification
- Educated to degree level or relevant industry experience
- 6+ years Political Violence market experience
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resources, practice groups and other producers
- Good working knowledge of Market Reform Contracts for Insurance and Reinsurance contracts
- Attention to detail
- Be able to maintain facetoface and telephone contact with clients and Underwriters
- Have a demonstrable track record of strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent communication (written, oral & presentation) skills & interpersonal skills essential
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, selfmotivation and decisionmaking skills are crucial
- Proven track record of delivering high levels of service
- Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists
- Ability to represent the practice and WTW with integrity and credibility
