Informatica Consultant

Permanent Role

UK ONLY - UK Remote
All employees here at Amber Labs MUST be able to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).


The Role:


We are working for a high-profile client, analysing their existing processes, identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise these processes, and developing solutions to deliver service improvements to them.


Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work for a growing consultancy that has a strong focus on innovation and collaboration;
  • You will work within our data engineering practice, a team whose expertise enables clients to gain insight from their data;
  • You will implement and debug processes within Cloud Application Integration and Data Integration;
  • You will have direct involvement in the Data management life cycle, from producing data integration mapping specifications, design and validation through to development and production deployments;
  • You will work directly with clients to understand their business problems and use your expertise to transform their data in order to do this;
  • You will promote the adoption and integration of data engineering into the client organisation, helping to drive innovation both internally and with clients;
  • You will define and participate in Proof of Concepts for the client and internally provided use cases, helping to assess and propose datafocused solutions based on business requirements.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in working within data engineering teams, with handson development experience in Informatica products
  • Proven experience using Informatica PowerCenter/PowerExchange
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills
  • Solid understanding of dimensional modelling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills will be needed to build strong relationships that will be critical for the success of this role
  • Experience of working within large, complex and geographically dispersed programmes

In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
