We're looking for enthusiastic and creative kitchen assistants


What is the role of a kitchen assistant in a care home?Undertake general cleaning of all areas within the kitchen and food preparation areas, dry goods store and dining room including the washing of pots/pans and sink duties.

Clean thoroughly areas such as windows, ledges, shelves etc. Assist in the preparation of food. Assist in the service of all meals and snacks.


Requirements:


To be a kitchen assistant, you should:

  • Must have experience working within catering
  • Happy to work between hours of 6am and 6pm
  • Have stamina and enthusiasm.
  • Be flexible.
  • Be able to carry out set tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
