Our client is an engineering firm who has made a commitment to support the energy transition and is rapidly expanding their capabilities within the low carbon and energy Transition sectors.

This will be working on Mining, Mineral processing and Battery Materialsprojects,
as Senior Studies Manager, you will play a key role in early-stage concept and feasibility through to delivering full EPC and EPCM packages.


This role is for a Senior Studies Manager, the role will be overseeing and ensuring the delivery of all aspects of study work from concept to detailed design.


You will be responsible for:

  • Lead study team(s); managing feasibility studies ensuring adherence to time constraints, budget and quality of deliverables.
  • Lead regular engagement with Core Team members to ensure alignment between the disciplines and departments.
  • Oversee the generation of cost estimates and the development of a comprehensive study report.
  • You will be a key point of liaison with the prospective client ensuring the study caters to their key requirements.
  • Leading in the delivery of projects, including where relevant leading the input of other (possibly multidisciplinary) engineers and subcontractors, to ensure delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality.
  • The business is looking for someone who will proactively look to increase the size of the department through own networking.

You will have:

  • Degree ideally in Engineering.
  • Experience in leading multi discipline teams, who are based remotely.
  • Process design experience, technical understanding of this.
  • 8 to 15 years experience, leading in the design of mineral processing, materials handling or hydrometallurgical ore processing facilities, preferably in base metals, ore processing.
