ISW has commenced a growth plan and is on track with its expansion and investment aspirations. As such, we need, to add to our existing team, to service the growing demand from our clients.
This role presents an opportunity to join our fast-paced, dynamic, and growing business. It is projected at someone with knowledge of fabrication designs with a commercial eye.
Your role will be to understand client drawings and price up a range of metalwork projects for clients across various sectors in the UK.
You will be building, expanding, and maintaining relationships with a multitude of different customers, dealing with incoming enquiries and orders, maximising sales and business opportunities, following the sales process, and liaising with other company departments whilst maintaining the highest level of customer care.
This is a B2B sales role that will see you developing your own opportunities through cold sales, utilising your previous network connections as well as maximising existing customer spend.
Principle activities:
- Reading and understanding architects/consultants' drawings to assess the scope of works
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers at all levels to ensure projects are efficiently costed and managed,
- Preparing cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts.
- Carrying out takeoffs and producing Bills of Quantities to prepare tenders for submission.
- Site visits to undertake surveys, attend meetings with projects teams as necessary.
- Working closely with other departments in supporting on projects as necessary from a commercial perspective.
- Undertake post tender and post contract discussion and cost considerations to understand learnings for future tenders.
- Raise sale orders, quotes and check the availability of stock.
- Determining architectural metal work requirements for the project / managing the expectations of the customers
- Doing full estimates / quotations and responding to tenders with project pricing
- Obtaining quotations for any works that need to be subcontracted
- Responsible for all changes and variations to pricing prior to contract award.
- Conducting periodic market research and analysis
- Tracking submitted proposals and providing feedback to management.
- Creating and maintaining client databases and mail lists.
- Monitoring of variations to original price with contracts and production managers
- Create sales reports with supplier quotations.

Experience:
- 3 years surveying
- 3 years within architectural/structural metalworks sales
License/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- CSCS (required)
Salary
£30-35k (DOE) + OTE
Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
