Description
Don't you just love that feeling of showing someone how to solve a problem? Or even just displaying where marginal gains can be made to processes?

Naturally, the opportunities to do that can become less frequent when you've been in a role for a few years.

You've grown your expertise, you've improved processes and systems accordingly and eventually, unless there's some real change in your team, youreach a stage where your next 12 months look no different from the last 12.

Are you getting close to this point?

If so, maybe it's time to find a fresh challenge and a new environment in which your knowledge and expertise can be put to real gain.

You can learn from them, and they can learn from you.

If you're an experienced management accountant, with some post qualification experience gained within the legal sector, this opportunity will offer you just that.

You'd be joining a finance department of around 30, where continuous improvement is part of the culture and fresh ideas are actively sought out.

The firm are one of the UK's most prestigious law firms, but there's no stuffiness. They've got a great team, with a glowing reputation within the firm and they invest heavily in technology.

You'd be the lead Management Accountant, based within the Management Information & Reporting team.

Within 6-12 months, once settled in to the firm, you'll take on management responsibility for an Assistant Management Accountant, coaching their developmentand delegating workload as appropriate.

The firm are eager to appoint an experienced Management Accountant for this role. You'll need to possess effective stakeholder management skills and have the confidence to business partner with business services Heads. You'll also be able to collaborateeffectively across functions, including the Finance Systems team to help improve processes and reporting.

The offices are in central London and there's a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in, 2 remote).
