Description
This vacancy is for an Early Years Modern Apprentice aged 16-19 years.


This position requires you to be part of an early years team, being involved in the planning and development of varied activities to support children's learning and development in a fun and stimulating environment.

You will also be responsible for the day to day well-being and safety of babies and young children supporting them to achieve their full potential.


You will work towards a SVQ Social Services Children and Young People SCQF Level 7 with a recognised training provider.

This will be arranged through Abbey Mill Childcare.


You will be employed by Abbey Mill Childcare Ltd and an experienced Assessor will visit you in your workplace on a regular basis to assess your progress.

Hours of work will be hrs per week, Monday - Friday, working shifts between 7.30am and 6pm.

You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council and join the PVG scheme.


Skills required:

No experience is necessary, however good communication skills and an interest in Early Learning and Childcare are essential.


Salary:
£6.40 /hour (NMW Apprenticeship rate)
