I have a GP Surgery that is looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser to cover maternity leave As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by accurately dispensing medications and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Duties:

Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy
Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards
Monitoring high risk drugs

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or similar role
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication administration
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing using Emis

2-3 days per week 24 hours

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 9 months

Salary:
£18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
