Key Responsibilities:


  • To provide the highest level of service with nothing being too much trouble at any time day or night with a 'can do' 'will do' 'with pleasure' attitude at all times.
  • Working as part of the wider team to ensure a high level of concierge services are delivered with nothing being too much trouble.

Conditions of Work:


This position will be based on an average of a 48-hour working week (hours may vary depending on individual employment contracts).

Concierge staff will operate a Monday to Sunday working week based on a three on and three off working Rota (unless agreed otherwise)


Working Hours:


Main Duties:


  • Ensure the staff uniform is worn and standards of appearance are maintained at all times; all protective and external wear to be worn at all times.
  • Always ensure that the necessary Health & Safety signs are displayed and procedures followed before carrying out any work.
  • Report any damage or defects immediately to the Duty Manager.
  • Ensure you address all residents, visitors and staff in accordance to the company standards at all times & to regularly attend onthejob staff customer care and inhouse training courses.
  • Report all maintenance issues including light bulbs to the duty shift manager.
  • Ensure that timesheets are accurately filled in daily, together with any other necessary forms.
  • Meet and greet visitors, contractors and staff visiting the estate, showing them where to park and direct them to their destination as necessary
  • Following the SOP procedures in reporting and responding to any complaints.
  • Identify any Health & Safety issues around the site and report them to the Duty manager or Estate Manager.
  • Undertake regular building patrols to monitor the cleanliness and security of the estate and record and report any issues to the Duty Manager.
  • Support the estate staff as necessary to deliver a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Ensure radio contact is maintained with concierge/security colleagues and the Duty Manager at all times.
  • Provide First Aid support in the event of any incident.
  • To serve as a principal source of Health and Safety operations on sites.
  • Take necessary action in the event of an emergency in accordance with assignment instructions and report all incidents to the Duty Manager.
  • Safeguard all the site and resident keys, manage and log the issue and return of keys and ensure that they are issued only where authorisation is fully validated.
  • Ensure that the Fire regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Carry out meter reads on behalf of residents as requested.
  • Any other reasonable request made by the Duty Manager or the Estate Manager.

Concierge Duties

  • To provide concierge duties as below within the estate as required:
  • To provide a warm welcome to all residents to the estate and ensure that they receive the highest levels of customer service at all times.
  • To answer the telephone following company SOP standards at all times.
  • To be smartly dressed at all times on duty following the company dress standards strictly.
