Head of HR - London, United Kingdom - The One Group
Description
Our client is a private organisation that is looking for a Head of HR to join the team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the CEO and working alongside the CFO, you will be responsible for the following:- Day to day HR generalist activities
- Managing recruitment function including direct advertising, working with agencies and undertaking preemployment checks for new recruits
- Preparing contracts of employment
- All aspects of onboarding in line with new starter and induction checklists
- First port of call for staff and management in relation to policy issues eg. flexible working, family leave, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Managing training requests
- Managing the roll out of mandatory compliance training across various platforms including data protection, antibribery & corruption, cybersecurity and antimoney laundering. Maintaining records of such training.
- Managing the annual performance review process.
- Managing leavers including exit interviews and leaver processes
- Ad hoc advice, help and assistance as required to senior management and colleagues.
You will need the following experience:
- CIPD Qualified or equivalent
- Proven HR generalist experience, preferably in a professional services environment and at a senior level
- Good understanding of relevant employment law and HR best practice.
- Knowledge of HRIS.
- Good understanding of data protection legislation and principles of data confidentiality.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
