An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Administrator to join us at Bala Holiday Parks, based at Pen y Garth Lodge Park, on a full time, permanent basis supporting our Maintenance and Reception teams.


Bala Holiday Parks is a family-owned business comprising of 4 parks which are all 5 star and established for over 50 years.

Their input to the team will be highly valued. Will also include working one weekend in four, and bank holidays when required. This position offers an attractive salary and the opportunity for you to work in a fast-paced industry.


We are seeking a dedicated team player, possessing first class customer service skills, a love of working with the public and the ability to work under pressure.

They will also have a positive, flexible attitude and be enthusiastic, able to take the initiative, be self-motivated and work effectively towards deadlines.

Competent using Microsoft Office especially Word & Excel, with excellent organizational and administrative skills.

Previous experience within the field of maintenance & repairs is desirable but not essential.

As Maintenance Administrator, you will be required to:

  • Resolve any maintenance issues with holiday homes by liaising with the maintenance team.
  • Invoice maintenance work on RMS (our inhouse software).
  • Ensure PAT tests, electrical testing and boiler servicing is undertaken.
  • Liaise with outside contractors for work scheduled on parks and holiday homes.
  • Handle aftersales issues with new holiday homes and schedule work with manufacturers if required.
  • Work closely with owners, reporting and resolving any issues.
  • Liaise with our Head housekeeper regarding any issues reported by the housekeeping team.
  • Manage Hot tub maintenance including scheduling chemical testing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Ensure Health and Safety records are up to date.
  • Ordering of stock required for lodges and the parks.
  • Take bookings and manage front of house where necessary.
