Health & Safety Officer


Basic Salary:
£ £40 000 Per Year


Location:
Doncaster, South Yorkshire


Working Hours:
Monday-Friday / Days Only

The Company

The Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sitewide activities to ensure Health & safety compliance.
  • Manage health and safety committee meetings for the site and develop the committee.
  • Create/update risk assessments, safe systems of work and safe working agreements/conditions for contractors.
  • Accident analysis, investigations, and proactive prevention measures.
  • Liaise with external parties (insurers/auditors/consultants/other stakeholders).
  • Facilitate the delivery of training as required (or arrange specific external courses).
  • Active safety auditing, reports, and statistical analysis for the site.
  • Lead on all matters regarding environmental compliance.
  • Oversee multiple H&S statutes and schemes relating to food manufacturing.
  • Work with associated safetyrelated documentation for the site (e.g., labelling, packaging, customer/supplier questionnaires, website content).
  • Drive accountability for H&S across the site.

£36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
