What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Framework Delivery Manager, the post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of stock, machinery and equipment held at Stonbury offices.

Duties and Responsibilities - Engage in the health, safety and company improvement culture - Maintain Company Management System (CMS) compliance to ISO 9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001: Individuals are to ensure that company processes documented in the CMS are followed at all times - Housekeeping - Stock check, reporting and management - Equipment management and maintenance - Delivery of materials to site Who we're looking for:

You will ideally be an experienced Stores person, or construction professional. We are looking for a real team-player who has the ability to work autonomously, presenting solutions rather than problems. You will be honest and trustworthy, acting with integrity at all times. Some driving will be required.

  • Skills and Experience_
  • ESSENTIAL_
  • The ability to easily locate and control stock in the Stores
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift and/or move heavy items
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • The ability to work unsupervised and on your own initiative and keep yourself busy during quiet periods
  • A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with suppliers and engage with team members on a daily basis
  • Organised and focused
  • A positive attitude and committed to high levels of care for other staff members
  • Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements
  • Able to work to a high standard of health and safety and quality. Basic knowledge of health and safety is essential
  • DESIRABLE_
  • Fork lift/Telehandler
  • PAT Training Certificate
  • Knowledge of COSHH
  • Experience in store management and/or systems
