Advancing People Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a 1st Line IT Support Analyst/Helpdesk Analyst for a worldwide, market leading Technology/Software Company who have an office in Barnsley/South Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Taking complete responsibility for the customers query, managing all communications in order to keep customers informed and satisfied throughout the investigation and solution finding process.
  • Utilise efficient use of time and resource together with correct prioritisation in order to maintain workload.
  • Maintaining the log with actions taken and provide documentary evidence, as necessary, regarding those actions.
  • Act as a main point of contact for Internal customers and thus project a professional image at all times
  • Use and develop systems to help achieve good relationships and satisfaction with customers & colleagues

Person Specification:


  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience delivering 1st line/Technical support
  • Previously works as an IT Helpdesk Support Analyst, 1st Line Support
  • Providing IT support in a Windows based commercial environment.
Ability to investigate unfamiliar problems and generate an effective solution in a systematic and logical manner

This is a full-time permanent position offering an attractive basic salary of up to
£30,000 Basic + fantastic company benefits

This role also offers flexibility to Work From Home/ Work Remotely / WFH - 2 Days a week
