Mobile & Fixed Plant Fitters

Location:

Salary:
Competitive, dependant on experience

Hours:
Full time 39 hours per, plus overtime

The opportunity:

We're looking for experienced Mobile and Fixed Plant Fitters to help support in the repair and maintenance of our plant and equipment at our newest metal processing facility, based in Glasgow.

The key responsibilities:

Repair and maintain plant and equipment
Complete engine servicing and repair on plant engines
Be able to carry out simple fabrications to be able to repair plant and equipment
Order and fit correct spare parts for plant and equipment
Complete required paperwork accurately for traceability and auditing
Complete workbased risk assessments
Work to correct site safety standards
Manage assigned workload to ensure that mobile plant and equipment is available when required
Plant experience
Diesel and gas engine experience
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
Service and repair experience on the following equipment : 360 degree excavators and grabs, shovel, FLT's, conveyor belts etc
Clean UK driving license
