We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cage Wash Technician at our site.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly working environment, operating cage washing equipment, and ensuring the welfare of animals in our care.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Operating and maintaining cage washing equipment
• Removing waste from animal enclosures and processing through the relevant waste disposal stream
• Transporting goods and supplies as needed
• Assisting with laundry duties and ensuring cleanliness of living areas
• Moving animals safely and humanely while adhering to strict animal welfare standards

Requirements:

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to learn and develop new skills quickly
• Previous experience in a similar role or industry
