Asbestos Analyst

£29,000 - £35,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Cardiff, South Wales


Our client is one of the UK's leading Asbestos Management Consultancy who have built a fantastic reputation in the asbestos market and possess a large, mixed portfolio of clients across the UK.

They are now looking to expand their talented pools of AsbestosAnalyst's due to new contract wins located across South Wales.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Site Analyst who is looking to develop their skill-set, as on offer is the opportunity to complete the BOHS P402 qualification and become a dual trained Asbestos Surveyor Analyst, along with furtheropportunities to develop skills in auditing and project management.


Asbestos Analyst Duties:


  • Carrying out Asbestos Air Tests, Asbestos Fibre Counts, 4Stage clearance testing
  • Liaise with clients and members of the public daily
  • Use PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy Techniques) for all Analytical work
  • Submit relevant reports through the TEAMS software and produce relevant certificates on site

Key Requirements:


  • BOHS P403 + P404/RSPH3 qualified with a sound understanding of basic air monitoring
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident user of handheld data collectors and knowledge of TEAMS software
  • Excellent knowledge of the health and safety legislation in relation to asbestos

Commutable locations:
Newport, Swansea, Port Talbot, Bristol, Monmouth, Merthyr Tydfil, Gloucester, Llaneli., South Wales.
