King Edward VI College, Stourbridge is a sixth form college and a member of the Heart of Mercia Trust.

The college specialises in the delivery of A levels for 16- to 19-year-olds, offering a broad curriculum with extensive enrichment opportunities.

We require a part-time (22.5 hours per week),
Staff and Student Counsellor to start as soon as possible.


Reporting to the Assistant Principal (Student Support) the Staff and Student Counsellor will provide counselling support for staff and students.

They will also support and promote safeguarding, child protection and equality and diversity awareness within the college; help to maintain and promote good discipline; help to develop a culture of mutual support; and share best practice within the team.

The College is fully committed to supporting all members of staff through staff development and in-service training.
