Are you a Java wizard with a passion for eCommerce? Are you ready to lead a team of developers and take your coding skills to new heights? Look no further We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Java Programmer to join our global eCommerce clientsteam.


As a Lead Java Programmer, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Java 11+, GCP, Spring, and Kafka, while leading, mentoring, and reviewing the code of a team of developers.

You'll also be responsible for hands-on codingand contributing to the development of new features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading, mentoring, and reviewing the code of a team of developers, ensuring best practices and standards are upheld
  • Hands on coding and development of new features and functionality
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to define,design, and ship new features
  • Working with product and design teams to understand customer requirements and ensure they are met in the final product
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and making recommendations for improvements
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Skilsl required.

  • Strong experience in eCommerce, specifically with GCP, Spring, Kafka, and the latest version of Java
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Proven experience in code reviews
  • Experience working remotely
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
