Description

Pay Later Carpets North East Scotland has a requirement for an Operations Administrator to support our growing carpet and flooring business.

We pride ourselves on delivering high quality products and a first class service to our customers.

The role entails supporting all aspects of the business from sales through to fittings. The primary role would involve supplier co-ordination, stock management and co-ordination of fittings as well as customer support. The role is outlined further below.

Supplier and Stock Co-ordinator

  • Create and track orders for our various suppliers
  • Monitor existing stock levels
  • Maintain stock register
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Travel to and from storage unit in Aberdeen when required
Co-ordinate fittings

  • Liaise with customers to arrange suitable fitting dates (customer focal point)
  • Liaise with fitters to book fittings (fitter focal point)
  • Respond to customer and fitter queries
  • Customer focal point on day of fitting
  • Coordinate any remedial work to be carried out
  • Maintain fittings register
Customer Support

  • Manage customer spreadsheet
  • Credit control support
  • Collect deposits
  • Social Media posts
  • Obtain customer feedback get customers to leave positive reviews on Facebook
  • Identify existing customers for followup sales calls
  • Sales calls (as required)
Other

  • Make improvement suggestions to help improve the way we work.
  • Any other activities to support the business.

Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

Salary:
£19,500.00-£22,000.00 per year

  • You will be required to attend our premises in Aberdeen for short periods of time to open up to allow fitter access and accept deliveries from 8am.
