The role of the Finance Analyst is to analyse past and present balance sheets/P&Ls/cost reports to predict future budgets for the company that are attainable and realistic.

The Finance Analyst will also need to come up with recommendations for improvementsto systems/processes to streamline duties and help the business to function more efficiently.

Description

  • Analyst current and past financial performance reports and data
  • Preparation of monthly and yearly reports
  • Preparation of budgeting reports
  • Evaluate current expenditure and how to cut costs where possible
  • Explore investment opportunities
  • Implement new systems/processes to aid best practice

Profile

  • Partqualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • 23 years' experience in FP&A
  • Experience in sports/media industry (preferred)
  • Degreelevel educated (preferred)
  • Team player but can also work independently when needed
  • Keen to suggest new practices where they feel is appropriate
  • Sociable likes to attend frequent work/social events
  • Has a passion for the sporting media industry
