PV Customer Engagement Specialist to join our incredible team at Novo Nordisk in Gatwick.

The Position


As a Pharmacovigilance Customer Engagement Specialist, you will provide end-to-end oversight of the setup and maintenance of customer engagement programs, providing the UK affiliate with a product safety system and complaints process, in accordance with UK and EU PV requirements.

You will ensure UK compliance of market research and patient support programmes with regulatory requirements, requiring you to review its impact on safety reporting and act as a safety contact point for all PV agreements.

Working in the UK affiliate, you will be responsible for;

  • Assessing the suitability of the vendor in line with PV requirements and prepare, coordinate and train internal and thirdparty vendors on requirements and reporting responsibilities.
  • Manage the safety reporting process with third party providers including reconciliation.
  • Collaborating with Global Safety, you will interpret and align UK processes with corporate systems and legal requirements, ensuring all documentation, SOPs and guidelines are in place. In case of audits and inspections, you will provide active support as required.
  • Providing support on core safety tasks, including the data entry and transfer of safety data to global counterparts, evaluating cases in line with authority requirements.
  • Monitoring of the safety mailbox and other sources for safety information, managing the submission process for SUSARs and dealing with customer complaints.

  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to engage with all levels within the organisation effectively.
  • Be excellent collaborator with strong customer and stakeholder management skills
  • Have ability to manage operational PV tasks while contributing to the business strategy
  • Be organised with the ability to prioritise, flex and multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Be a proactive and motivated team player who can demonstrate a Growth mindset, with a track record of wanting to learn, develop and stretch oneself.

Located at our Gatwick office, this role reports into the Safety and Medical Information Manager. Overall, the broader UK CMR (Clinical, Medical & Regulatory) department has a headcount of c140 employees across multiple teams such as Clinical Research, Medical Affairs & Education, Regulatory and Safety
