Fourblue are working with a leading HV (high voltage) engineering company. They specialise in electrical power infrastructure, grid connections and renewable energy generation.

An ICP (independent connection provider) with over 46 years' experience in delivering projects across a range of industries, including renewable energy, electric vehicle & grid stability.

Responsibilities of the 11/33kV SAP (Senior Authorised Person):

Issuing of safety documents
Identifying and spiking of cable circuits including fault location
Testing of cable circuits
Assist project and commissioning engineers with HV testing when required
Oversee and mentor junior engineers, competent persons and authorised persons who are working towards SAP status
Manage interfaces between the company and client / DNO SAP's

Criteria for the 11/33kV SAP (Senior Authorised Person):

Experience with a utility or in electrical contracting as a Senior Authorised Person with authorisation for switching up to 11/33kV
Have a good technical knowledge of HV switchgear, both current and obsolete equipment
Full UK driving licence
