Wessex Pictures is a privately owned market leading wholesaler to the picture framing trade with branches nationwide.

We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join us as a Warehouse Supervisor in a full-time capacity.

Your Role:

As the head office for the company, the warehouse team plays a crucial role in supplying other branches nationwide and customers across the south and south-west directly.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will report to the Warehouse Manager and your primary responsibility will be supervising a warehouse team and overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Provide leadership and guidance to the warehouse personnel, offering coaching and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
Plan and prioritize daily activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations for all team members.
Conduct training for new team members on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and company policies.
Assist in daily warehouse operations, such as receipt and putaway of deliveries, processing returns and sales orders, glass cutting, loading delivery vans and dispatching sales orders.
Ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work area is maintained.
