International Payroll Specialist

up to £65k + bonus & benefits


Summary:

As a key member of the Reward Team in a FTSE250 company, the overall purpose of the
role is to deliver a number of international payrolls from start to finish and provide cover
for the UK payroll. Role reports to the Global Payroll Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for International Payroll full monthly processing. USA (300 people),
Switzerland (50 people), Hong Kong (40 people). Further Payrolls for 10 people or less
includes Australia, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Japan, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein,
Netherlands, South Korea, Spain. Required to manage the full end to end payroll process
including money movement, statutory filings, year end and ad hoc processes

  • Liaising with 3rd party Payroll Vendors, Tax Advisors and Employees
  • Back up support for in house UK Payroll (1200 people), this will include full inhouse
processing, checking and monthly payroll controls and payments on cover basis.

  • Assisting with month end processes including finance GL files, distribution of payslips and
employee correspondence

  • Deputising for Global Payroll Manager when required
  • Providing support to the HR Operations team and the wider HR team on projects where
required


Key Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years proven payroll experience preferably within Financial Services
  • Experience of running end to end payrolls for International Payrolls. Prior knowledge of
USA and Switzerland required, APAC region Italy/Bulgaria payroll experience desirable

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel & Word knowledge preferred together with working
knowledge of at least one HR system. Previous experience of ADP Workforce Now (USA) /
ADP Streamline (SPM), Workday and CGI ePayfact (UK) an advantage

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with attention to detail and the ability to work
independently

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
