Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a 12-month maternity contract leading lead the HR Function across 2 very exciting early-stage businesses within the Sapphiros Group, Biocrucible Ltd (Cambridge) and Flexotronix Ltd (Brighton).

Biocrucible are developing detection technologies that enable near-patient and at-home testing for infectious disease, and Flexotronix. Their expertise is high-speed printed electronics manufacturing, as well as extreme volume lateral flow manufacturing.

This is a Cambridge based hybrid role that we expect to develop over time. However, there will be time spent in both Brighton (2 days per month depending on workload) and Cambridge offices. Whilst you will be mostly Cambridge based, you will need to be comfortable traveling between both as required.

We are a scaling technology company with ambitious plans.

And whilst we can only offer this role as a maternity contract, there is a very real chance the role could be made permanent.

  • Provide HR Business Partner support to key leadership across the organisation.
  • Drive the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the efficient onboarding process for new hires, including the provision of employment contracts, preemployment checks, and comprehensive company and HR induction.
  • Develop and implement a learning and development program and performance management framework to support employee growth and success.
  • Manage the HR information system and collaborate with the Finance department on reporting requirements.
  • Support organisational development or changes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate the company's approach to talent acquisition activities, including selection and negotiation with recruitment providers.
  • Manage data privacy compliance to protect employee information.
  • Oversee employee relations processes, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
  • Develop and manage the internal communications process to enhance employee engagement and alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop a rewards and recognition approach that's reflective of the unique needs of a startup environment.
  • Work as part of a crossfunctional team to shape the developing company organisational structure and manage change effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Associated or Chartered CIPD
