Job description
We're looking for a high-level Social Media Video & Content Creator who understands how to turn real-world service businesses into strong digital brands.
We operate multiple home service brands (roofing, exteriors, restoration, and marketing/automation services).Our goal is not just to "post content" — we want to build authority, trust, and inbound demand through strategic, conversion-driven social content.
If you understand storytelling, hooks, short-form video psychology, and how to create content that drives leads — not just likes — we want to talk.
- Short-Form Video Creation (Primary Focus)
Develop strong hooks in first 3 seconds
Repurpose long-form content into short clips
Add captions, overlays, and clear CTAs
Optimize for retention and engagement
- Social Content Strategy
Align content with seasonal campaigns (roofing season, winter prep, storm response, etc.)
Balance educational, authority-building, and promotional content
Identify trending formats relevant to home services
- Graphic + Post Creation
Customer testimonials
Educational carousels
Authority-based posts (certifications, awards, project highlights)
Etc.

YouTube
LinkedIn (for select brands)
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience creating short-form content that drives measurable results
Strong portfolio (please include links)
Understands home services or local service businesses (preferred)
Comfortable working with raw job-site footage
Knows how to create content that builds authority, not fluff
Can take initiative and propose ideas
Ownership & Confidentiality (Non-Negotiable)
All content created under this engagement — including raw footage, edited videos, graphics, scripts, captions, and any derivative assets — is 100% owned by our company.
The contractor may not reuse, resell, display, publish, or share any created assets as part of a portfolio, case study, marketing material, or promotional content without written permission.
This includes both finished content and raw materials provided during the project.Applicants must agree to full intellectual property transfer and confidentiality as a condition of engagement.

Weekly content calendar
12–24 edited short-form videos per month
4 edited long-term videos per month
8–12 static or carousel posts per month
Monthly performance summary
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 10 hours per week.
