Assistant Company Secretary (London, Hybrid)
Job Purpose
The primary responsibility will be the management and coordination of the Company Secretarial and corporate governance activity of a portfolio of AVEVA's entities in the UK, EMEA and Americas region.
The post holder will act as the principal point of contact for company secretarial matters related to the entities in the regions.
This role is a key member of the Company Secretariat team which has global responsibility for company secretarial matters.The Company Secretariat team forms part of the wider Legal organisation ultimately reporting to the Chief Legal and Transformation Officer.
Roles and responsibilities- To act as the point of contact for company secretarial matters and coordinate and manage all company secretarial matters for the range of entities within the portfolio.- Ensure that the entities comply fully with relevant corporate legislation and make all appropriate filings with corporate regulators on a timely basis, with or without the support of third party advisors.- Ensure that accurate corporate data and structure charts are maintained for entities.- Manage the relationships with key external suppliers to the Company Secretariat function.- To provide company secretarial support on large corporate transactions and projects.- Assistance with other company secretarial tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required- Similar previous experience.- Proven track record in local corporate and company secretarial matters- Strong organizational skills- Excellent interpersonal skills- High level of attention to detail- Team player- Analytical- Client (internal) focused- Flexible, adaptable and pragmatic- Able to use initiative to resolve problems and identify improvements to processes
