An exciting opportunity has arised for a full time Mental Health Act Administrator within the Mental Health Act Offfice at Harrison House.

The post holder would require a keen interest in legislation and will have an integral role within the Mental Health Act office with regard to all aspects of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice (COP).

They will be responsible on a day-to day basis for the administration and implementation of the Mental Health Act (1983), assuring that the requirements of the Act are met.

The role will also support the Mental Health Act Office Manager.

The post holder will be an excellent communicator and coordinator, with a range of personal, word processing and computer skills.

The post will play a key role in ensuring service users are legally detained.
