We are looking for a
Warehouse Supervisor to join our team who has a real can-do attitude, is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.


  • Are you enthusiastic, committed and driven to achieve effective results and reach all departmental targets?

  • Do you have previous experience supervising a large team and meeting KPI's in a fastpaced warehouse?
  • Are you flexible in working a 5day rolling rota shift pattern where you are contracted to work weekends and Bank/Public holidays?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team of front-line managers to support and facilitate the success of the warehouse.


The Warehouse consists of a dry, chilled and freezer department covering goods in, picking and loading class 1 and class 2 vehicles with multidrop/multi temperature orders.

The department forms an essential part of the depot in delivering the right products to our customers on time.


Health and Safety is vital within this role therefore you will be expected to comply with all requirements of the Health and Safety policy and procedure ensuring your team are always compliant with the safety aspects relevant to their roles. Safety starts with you

You will be responsible for

  • The accurate picking and dispatch of goods with all employees ensuring daily targets are consistently and accurately met
  • Performance management of the team to ensure the highest standards are achieved with mínimal errors
  • Working with all team members to ensure that corporate goals and operational KPI's are consistently achieved and maintained
  • Adherence to company policy and procedures and safe working practices at all times
  • Effective people management of your team with the ability to improve morale
  • Effective resource management
  • Compliance at all times with relevant legislation involved in Food Safety and Food Hygiene
  • Reviewing standards and working practices to support the achievement of all objectives
  • Take ownership and play an active part in recruitment, attendance management and the success of your team
  • Health and Safety and reporting procedures relevant to your role
  • Full cooperation with other departments/depots to ensure maximum efficiencies are met
  • Always maintaining a professional and polite attitude
  • Playing your part in ensuring audits are passed by adhering to all process and procedures applicable to your role
  • Undertake any other duties that may from time to time prove necessary
You will need

  • Give 100% to effectively achieve your targets
  • Have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across all departments
  • Be able to lead your team and work collaboratively with other areas within the warehouse
  • Take pride in your work and ensure the department consistently achieves effective results
  • Identify training and development needs and implement effective bespoke training plans
  • Be adaptable and resilient to meet the everchanging demands of our business
  • Be able to follow instructions either verbal or written
  • Have a flexible approach to meet the demands of a sevenday operation
  • Be reliable and a good timekeeper
  • You must be clean and presentable at all times
Previous experience supervising a large team in a similar working environment is essential.

The working pattern is 5 over 6 (Sun - Fri);
