Dunster Biomass Heating (Scotland) Ltd is looking for an experienced bookkeeper and administrative assistant to join our small, engineer led team.
We undertake the design, installation and maintenance of biomass heating systems across Scotland.
The role will include invoicing, making supplier payments, reconciling accounts, running payroll etc. Once training has been given, this will expand to include customer facing roles, arranging services, scheduling engineers, ordering parts etc.
Initially, the expectation is that this will be undertaken at the office but once established, much of the work can be undertaken from home if preferred although some office time is likely to be the norm each week.
The role is part time with precise hours to be agreed which can be adjusted to fit in with other commitments if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other documents.
- Prepare bank deposits and maintain records of banking activities.
- Prepare and submit tax returns.
- Provide customer service support to clients.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a filing system for financial records.
Job Types:

£12.00-£16.00 per hour
