Credit Controller to join the finance team.

Credit Controller - Key Responsibilities:

Follow credit and collection procedures
Ensure customer payments are made within the agreed timescales whilst maintaining good customer relations and retention
Review and approve sales orders to ensure they fall within the customer's agreed credit limit, otherwise work with the relevant sales representative and senior credit controller to prepare a proposal to expedite the issue
Ensure the accuracy of all invoices and credits posted to the individual accounts and verify the accuracy of balances on the sales ledger
Resolve any queries with customers, internal, external sales teams and ensure accounts are kept up to date
Systematically follow up on collection of outstanding accounts in a manner that will yield the best timely results while maintaining good relations with the customer
Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtor days
Maintain a courteous and professional manner when dealing with internal stakeholders and customers
Ensure customer accounts are kept up to date and financial regulations are complied with through out the department
Accurately post and allocate all BAC's transactions, cheque receipts and credit card payments to the relevant customer accounts
Maintain detailed documentation in SAP of all collection efforts by account for future analysis of a customer's credit worthiness and to serve as support in the event of a bad debt writeoff
Prepare and mail out monthly customer statements
