Credit Controller to join the finance team.

Credit Controller - Key Responsibilities:
- Follow credit and collection procedures
- Ensure customer payments are made within the agreed timescales whilst maintaining good customer relations and retention
- Review and approve sales orders to ensure they fall within the customer's agreed credit limit, otherwise work with the relevant sales representative and senior credit controller to prepare a proposal to expedite the issue
- Ensure the accuracy of all invoices and credits posted to the individual accounts and verify the accuracy of balances on the sales ledger
- Resolve any queries with customers, internal, external sales teams and ensure accounts are kept up to date
- Systematically follow up on collection of outstanding accounts in a manner that will yield the best timely results while maintaining good relations with the customer
- Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtor days
- Maintain a courteous and professional manner when dealing with internal stakeholders and customers
- Ensure customer accounts are kept up to date and financial regulations are complied with through out the department
- Accurately post and allocate all BAC's transactions, cheque receipts and credit card payments to the relevant customer accounts
- Maintain detailed documentation in SAP of all collection efforts by account for future analysis of a customer's credit worthiness and to serve as support in the event of a bad debt writeoff
- Prepare and mail out monthly customer statements
Credit Controller - Key Skills Required:
- Previous experience within Credit Control is essential
- Experience using SAP is desired
- Attention to detail
- Selfmotivated and able to work unsupervised individually or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent MS skills specifically Excel
