_Overview of the role_
Tyneside Surgical Services (TSS) is an independent provider of NHS care located in the North East of England.

We are looking for a talented, driven and ambitious individual who wants to develop a career within finance and data analytics.

The company has been established for over 14 years and has recently seen a large expansion.

This role will focus strongly on data & finance management work.


_Duties and Responsibilities_
The role will contain the following duties and responsibilities:

_Finance_

• Overseeing the endtoend invoicing process, encompassing both purchase and sales invoices. Key tasks may include monitoring invoice workflow, resolving billing disputes, maintaining records, and identifying process improvements.
• Dealing with supplier queries through the management of the Finance inbox.
• Reporting all relevant financial data to the Assistant Finance Director and the company accountant in a timely manner.

_Data_

• Analysing the statistical data from the company's patient system and reporting this to the relevant individuals within the team.
• Collecting and inputting company data into the company's system.

_Desirable Skills_

• Practical experience within accounting software's, however training is provided
• Experience within the invoicing process.
• Intermediate experience of excel with knowledge of formulas within excel
• Strong attention to detail due to the nature of the work.
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
• Ability to prioritise workload due to the variety of work.

_Desirable Qualifications_

• Maths and English grades 9/6 / A/B or equivalent
• Preferably a Grade A in GCSE Maths
