The Public Health Team works to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for the citizens of Calderdale and help address health inequalities.

Public Health Intelligence professionals provide information that's essential both for identifying issues that have a negative effect on people's health, and for planning to deal with those issues.

The role advertised contributes to the team by delivering a range of intelligence projects. This will include surveys, evaluations and qualitative insight to support the Active Calderdale Programme.


The postholder will also analyse large datasets from local and national sources to contribute towards profiling of the population and to support population health management and the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.
