THE ROLE


The overall purpose of this job is to manage the overall logistics of the stores, support driver team and vehicles fleet to deliver an efficient service to the operations.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Manage the logistics team and supporting the stores within a highly driven operational depot
  • Coordinate the support drivers plan and prioritise the support the region receives and ensure sites comply with NRSWA requirements
  • Manage a fleet of 125+ vehicles for the depot maintaining records to ensure MOT's are in date and vehicles receive the correct service requirements
  • Liaise with Plant and Equipment department to maintain stock control of a variety of fittings, equipment, SLG and tooling throughout the depot
  • Obtain a foresight for Replacement and Connections works to obtain the appropriate levels of stock whilst working to budget
  • Manage the depot supply and calibration of plant and equipment and perform the required audits ensure PUWER and LOLER requirements are met
  • Ensure the stores and yard complies with ISO14001, and support the SHE team with the relevant inspections
  • Assist facilities management, including key holding and site security for multiple sites
  • Prior knowledge and or experience of managing a store and fleet is preferred for this role
