A Smart Repairer will carry out alloy wheel refurbishment in Cargiant's state of the art Paint Shop.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Take part in removing wheels from cars and carry out tyre stripping (when/if required).
  • Inspect then prep alloy wheels which require refurbishment.
  • Operate diamond cut machine on applicable wheel types.
  • Operate pretreatment, powder coating and curing oven machines.
  • Fit and balance tyres (when/if required).
  • Take collect vehicles from other departments (when/if required).
  • Carry out quality checks on completed jobs.
  • Ensure all work is carried out within health safety guidelines.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as requested by management and senior staff.

  • Reporting any potential issues which could cause harm.
  • Behave in a manner which acts in line with the standards set out in the Health and Safety Manual and Company Handbook.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in vehicle painting or smart repairs/alloy wheel refurbishment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and passion to deliver excellent results of own work.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as a member of a very welloiled Team.
