PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Technical SMC Lead to join the team to be responsible for management of all changes to SMC activity that required technical assessment

Details/duties:

Provide Technical support for any proposed initiatives for Specialist Maintenance Contracts to include Upskilling requirements of core maintenance personnel
Provide Technical support for any proposed initiatives for Specialist Maintenance Contracts to include Competence considerations and requirements of core maintenance personnel
Provide Technical support for any proposed initiatives for Specialist Maintenance Contracts to include consideration of Maintenance optimisation opportunities and amendments to the CMMS to ensure Core crew activity/routines are optimised to allow for additional Specialist maintenance activity to be added to core maintenance burden.
Work with the Planning teams to ensure that any rationalisation of SMC's is planned and visible per asset to allow for a smooth transition of task ownership.
Carry out full Management of Change with full technical considerations for any changes or amendments to current ways of working for Specialist Maintenance Vendors
Post Changes to SMC activity ensure the correct level of support is still available for warranty work or for activity deemed to be requiring vendor support to continue in a different capacity. Included in this is critical vendor stakeholder management and attendance at QPR's.
Ensure all Technical authorisation for SMC changes includes the correct client and site stakeholders
Visit Offshore sites to monitor and measure SMC activity opportunities for core crew and to understand how any implemented changes are being realised and what challenges/benefits exist.
Support the identification of campaignable activity and work with SMC's and Maintenance support teams in each asset to implement campaign activity which is well planned and prepared for. Focus should be on high volume, low complexity tasks.

Qualifications/Experience required:

Proven oil & gas industry experience in a similar position with minimum of 5 years in a Technical Maintenance role
Offshore certification and willing to travel offshore
