Position Overview:

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a sports coach, preferably in a school setting.
Patient, kind and encouraging attributes
Able to motivate and inspire
Strong knowledge of various sports and ageappropriate coaching techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications.
Level 1 Ideally level 2 Sports coaching (we can also help with coaching pathway) OR Level 3 PT OR Sport Science Degree with some coaching experience

Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

Develop and implement engaging sports programs aligned with Aspire to Greatness' innovative approach.
Teach fundamental sports skills, strategies, and techniques to students in primary or secondary school settings.

Student Engagement:

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes a love for sports.
Motivate and encourage students to actively participate in physical activities and embrace a healthy lifestyle.

Skill Development:

Identify and nurture the individual talents of students, providing constructive feedback to support their athletic growth.
Implement progressive training plans to enhance skill development and overall performance.
Teamwork and Character Building:
Emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development.
Organize teambuilding activities and exercises to enhance collaboration among students.

Communication and Collaboration:

Maintain effective communication with school staff, parents, and Aspire to Greatness coordinators.
