Position:

DRN is currently working in partnership with a client and they're currently looking to recruit a Outreach Officer. The post holder will deliver outreach and communication activities to London Boroughs who are participating in the Programme Pilot.

The Primary objective is to signpost eligible SME's and hard to reach businesses to the Wayfinder programme and gain access to business support from registered Service Providers.

Some of the Outreach Officer key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Supporting the GLA and borough officials to promote the programme to the small businesses that they touch
  • Identifying and engaging other multipliers who can promote the programme (e.g. accountants, incubators, enterprise centres)
  • Supporting V4S, the GLA's delivery partner for the programme, to communicate the programme to business support Service Providers active in the boroughs where gaps in provision have been identified.
  • Distribution of printed flyer in the Boroughs, engaging with businesses on the ground
  • Encouraging them to place information in their newsletters/across socials etc where relevant.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role, you need to be:

  • Be London based
  • Be available to present at face to face and virtual meetings with stakeholders as required
  • Be familiar with the London business ecosystem and a solid understanding of hardtoreach, underrepresented communities.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentational skills
  • Have experience of managing stakeholder arrangements to achieve positive outcomes for the organisation
  • Organising and prioritising work effectively to achieve targets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prioritising, remaining organised, and paying attention to detail, whilst maintaining customer commitments in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to confidently deal with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and with the ability to engage at all levels and handle objections successfully.

Salary:
£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
